Report of Defect found in

Compact Waterproof Data Logger TR-51S/52S

It has been found that when using a version of “T&D Recorder for Windows (TR-5, TxU)” 1.50E or lower in combination with Communication Port TR-50C and TR-51S / 52S, communication may be broken off and unable to be resumed.

This occurs because of a bug in the software that does not allow for full control when this combination of devices is being used.

This problem can be avoided by downloading a newer version of “T&D Recorder for Windows (TR-5, TxU)” with a version number of 1.51E or higher. 

We ask that affected customers download and install “T&D Recorder for Windows (TR-5, TxU) Ver1.51E” .

If you have any questions about the downloading process, please contact the dealer from which you purchased the devices being used.

This problem does not occur when using TR-51S/52S in combination with TR-50U, RTR-57C, RTR-57U as the communication port. Note that it is not necessary to download or install “T&D Recorder for Windows (TR-5, TxU) Ver1.51E” .
