Automatic Recording of
Software Operation History

All operations considered critical will be automatically recorded in the Operations History and saved in an Encoded History File. Archival Data contains info for the Operation Date/Time, Task, Function, User ID and Message stating reason for change. With the Archive Viewer it is possible to view any archival record, which can be sorted by column. It is also possible to save the archived information into text file.

User Registration

To carry out any operation in T&D Recorder VLD for Windows, first it is necessary to make User ID, Password and Operation Authorization Registration Settings using [User Management Tools]. Only those users who have been registered in the [User Management Tools] can access the various applications in T&D Recorder VLD for Windows.

Confirm Downloaded Data in Graphs and Tables

Recorded data can be downloaded to your computer and with “Temperature/Humidity Graph (VLD)” it is easy to see visually in colorful graphical and tabular form the changes in temperature and humidity. Up to 8 channels of recorded data can be viewed in the same graph at one time. Moreover, in the data list, the highest, lowest and average readings are easily distinguishable by color.

Create Text File for Recorded Data

It is possible to convert the data for a specified range (time period) to common text file format (CSV type format), so that it can be exported to spreadsheet software such as Excel or Lotus.

Save Downloaded Data as Original Encoded File

The downloaded data will be saved both as an encoded Original File (.trc) and as a Common Thermo Recorder Type File (.trx). Only the User who has the same User ID and Password as when the downloading of data was carried out and the file was encrypted can open the encoded Original File. All Data will be effectively protected from unauthorized access to prevent inappropriate manipulation or tampering.

Reprint Exact Same Graph

Upon printing a Graph, T&D Recorder VLD for Windows enables you to save the printing settings. By using the “Upload Saved Print Settings” function, a graph that has already been printed will appear as it was saved and can be reprinted with the exact same scale and positioning info.

Edit Graph Display Colors and Recording Conditions

It is possible to change graph colors and scale lines. It is also possible to delete and re-order channel data. For some items, after making changes, a window will appear asking you to enter the reason for the changes. The entered reason will be saved in the Operations History File and can be viewed in the Archive Viewer message column.

Efficient Management by Creating Remote Unit Groups

When carrying out wireless communication, the Wireless Data Collectors RTR-57U/57C are referred to as the Base Unit and the Data Loggers RTR-51A/52A/53A are referred to as Remote Units. Only after having properly registered the RTR-5 units as Remote Units into the Base Unit, it is possible to carry out wireless communication. Moreover, if there are multiple Remote Units, they can be divided into Groups to be registered for easy and efficient management. Up to 3840 Remote Units can be registered to one RTR-57U.

By connecting a Remote Unit to your computer, T&D Recorder VLD for Windows allows you to easily set the desired recording conditions and upper / lower limit settings for the Remote Unit via your computer display. It is also possible to view and check the various current recording settings for the registered Remote Unit such as Recording Conditions, Group / Remote Unit Name, and Remaining Battery Life.
