Temperature / Humidity Recorder
RTR-51A/51AL
RTR-52A/52AL
With sensor connected

Temperature Recording Range:
-40 to 80°C (RTR-51A), -60 to 155°C (RTR-52A)

The RTR-51A, with internal sensor, can measure and record temperatures from -40 to 80°C and the RTR-52A, with external sensor, is able to measure and record in a range of -60 to 155°C.

Note: The main unit is designed for use in environments with an ambient temperature between -40 to 80°C and is water resistant.
RTR-52Pt/52PtL
With sensor adaptor connected

Temperature Recording Range: -199.9 to 600°C

By connecting a three-wire Pt100 / Pt1000 Temperature Sensor (sold separately) it is possible to measure and record in a wide range of -199.9 to 600°C. Moreover, it is possible to connect to an already existing platinum resistor (Pt100/Pt1000) sensor.

Note: When measuring and recording using Fahrenheit, although it is possible to measure between -327.8 and 1112 degrees, the LCD on the Logger can only show between -199.9 and 999.9 degrees.
The main unit is designed for use in environments with an ambient temperature between -40 to 80°C and is water resistant.
RTR-53A/53AL
With sensor connected

Humidity Recording Range: 10 to 95%RH

The RTR-53A with its standard temperature / humidity sensor is able to simultaneously measure and record temperature within a range of 0 to 55°C and humidity within a range of 10 to 95%RH.
The sensor for the RTR-53A has been specially designed to withstand certain amounts of condensation. It is waterproofed for daily life usage(IP64).

Note: The main unit is designed for use in environments with an ambient temperature between -40 to 80°C and is water resistant.

Voltage / Pulse / Event Recorder
RVR-52/52L
With sensor connected

Pulse Measurement: 30 Counts per Second

RVR-52 can measure up to 30 counts (30Hz) per second when the input voltage range is between 0-30V and there is a continuous pulse of more than 15 msec. When measuring pulse, the largest number of counts for one recording interval is 32,000 counts. You can select from rising signal (Lo to Hi) or falling signal (Hi to Lo) and count when one or the other occurs.

Voltage Measurement Range: 0 to 6.5V

Event Time Recording

RVR-52 can measure and record input voltage from 0 to 6.5V. You can choose to record the voltage measurement as the instantaneous value for each recording interval span or as the average value for each recording interval span. The average value for recording intervals under 15 seconds will be calculated as the average of the measurements from every 1 second. The average for intervals over 20 seconds will be calculated as the average of the measurements from every 2 seconds.

RVR-52 can record the time of any event; a rising (Lo to Hi) or falling (Hi to Lo) waveform that occurs for more than 1 second at an input voltage range of between 0-30V.

What’s new in Model RVR-52A?

RVR-52A is an upgraded version of our original model RVR-52.
The following two functions have been added to our new model, RVR-52A: 1. A Pre-heat function 2. Adjustment functions for voltage measurement. By using the pre-heat function you can control the external sensor power supply, which allows for a reduction in current consumption. Moreover, moisture measurement is possible using Soil Moisture Sensor from Decagon Devices Inc.

Note: The RVR-52A has a 3-pin input connector. Hence, for the RVR-52A, it is not possible to use the RVR-7101 input cable with a 2-pin connector that was provided with the original version RVR-52. (The RVR-52 has a 2-pin input connector.) Please keep that in mind when purchasing our products.

Soil Moisture Measurement

It is possible to measure soil moisture using Decagon Devices Inc, Soil Moisture Sensor ECHO Probes (EC-10, EC-20). The RVR-52A has a built-in excitation voltage (2.5V) for the ECHO probe that allows for easy direct connection. The output from the ECHO probe is converted directly into moisture volume content by percentage (%) and displayed as such. Moreover, by using the adjustment function in the accompanying software [T&D Recorder for Windows (US)] you can achieve even more accurate readings.

Note:T&D Corporation does not handle or sell the Soil Moisture Sensors ECHO Probe (EC-10, EC-20). All inquires and questions concerning sales of and the operational specifications of the sensors should be made to Decagon Device,Inc.
