Wireless Data Logger Selection to Fit Your Needs
RTR-501: Internal Temperature Sensor
Internal sensor provides optimum waterproof and dust proof capabilities. This is the perfect Data Logger for use in harsh environments: whether that may be indoor frozen or refrigerated storage or high humidity, high dust outdoor applications. Moreover, the compact lightweight design means it can be placed just about anywhere.
RTR-502: External Temperature Sensor for Wide Measurement Range
Other than the included sensor TR-5106, we offer a variety of exclusive RTR-502 optional sensors to meet your needs; from ones with stainless protection to those that can be used in water. Please see the Options Page for more about the sensors.
RTR-503: External Temperature and Humidity Sensor
The RTR-503 includes a sensor that measures and records both temperature and humidity.
RTR-505: Wireless Data Logger with Input Module
Depending on the type of Input Module that is included in the package purchased, the RTR-505 can measure and record different measurement items with a variety of sensors and measuring devices.
RTR-505-TC: Temperature Measurement using a Thermocouple Sensor
RTR-505-Pt: Temperature Measurement using a Pt100 or Pt1000 Sensor
RTR-505-V: Voltage Measurement using a variety of Sensors
RTR-505-mA: 4-20mA Measurement using a variety of Sensors
RTR-505-P: Pulse Measurement using a variety of Sensors
RTR-574: Illuminance UV Recorder WL
The RTR-574 includes two sensors to measure and record Illuminance/UV (ISA-3151) and temperature/humidity (
THA-3151). The RTR-574-H includes our high precision temperature/humidity sensor (
HHA-3151) and the Illuminance/UV sensor (ISA-3151).
This Data Logger allows for the measuring and recording of the above items in various places such as facilities where people gather, where important documents and fine arts are being stored or displayed, where food and drink is being stored. Also, cumulative illuminance and the cumulative amount of UV light can be easily viewed even without stopping recording.

* The Data Loggers in our RTR-500 Series only function as Remote Units. Base Units are required to carry out wireless communication.
* RTR-500 Series Loggers cannot be used with RTR-57U, RTR-50 or RTR-5W.
* The sensor included with RTR-503 is not water resistant.
* The sensor connector of the Input Module that is included with RTR-505 is not water resistant.
* Neither the RTR-574 Unit nor the included sensor are water resistant.
Download Data via Wireless Communication with a Base Unit
Recorded data can be downloaded from RTR-501, 502, 503, 505, and 574 Data Loggers (Remote Units) via wireless communication with a Base Unit. The wireless communication range between a Remote Unit and a Base Unit is about 150 meters [500 ft]. By registering an RTR-500 as a Repeater, it can be used to expand the wireless communication range.
Large Logging Capacity: Up to 16,000 Readings
RTR-501/502/505: Maximum of 16,000 readings
16,000 readings means you can record every one second and still log four and a half hours of data; or at a recording interval * of 60 minutes you can keep logging for 666 days. A Base Unit can download via wireless communication one RTR-501, RTR-502, or RTR-505 Remote Unit at full logging capacity (16,000 readings) in about two minutes.
RTR-503: Maximum of 8,000 data sets
One data set consists of readings for Temperature and Humidity measurements. A Base Unit can download via wireless communication one RTR-503 Remote Unit at full logging capacity (8,000 data sets) in about four minutes.
RTR-574: Maximum of 8,000 data sets
One data set consists of readings for Illuminance, UV Intensity, Temperature and Humidity measurements. A Base Unit can download via wireless communication one RTR-574 Remote Unit at full logging capacity (8,000 data sets) in about four minutes.
* By using the software supplied with the Base Unit, the recording interval for a Remote Unit can be set to one of fifteen selections (1 second to 60 minutes).
Low Energy Consumption Design
RTR-501/502/503/505
The RTR-501, RTR-502, RTR503 and RTR-505 Data Loggers use one Lithium Battery (LS14250). At normal temperature, if recorded data is downloaded once a day or if monitoring is carried out once every ten minutes, the estimated battery life will be about ten months.
Model names which include “L” are designed with a large capacity battery pack. Under the same conditions, L-type models will continue for about four years without the need to change the battery.
The RTR-574 uses one AA alkaline battery. If one Unit of full data is downloaded once a day via wireless communication, the estimated battery life will be about four months. (There are no L-types models of RTR-574.)
* Battery life varies depending upon the type of battery, the measuring environment, and the frequency of communication. All estimates are based on operations carried out with a new battery and are in no way a guarantee of actual battery life.
Measurement with a Variety of Sensors
RTR-505
The RTR-505 allows for a variety of commercially available sensors to be connected to the included Input Module.
This new flexibility has widened the range of possible applications without having to change Base Units.
RTR-574 featuring Button Operation
RTR-574
The buttons on the face of the RTR-574 Unit make it possible to change the LCD display pattern, start and stop recording, make or change recording interval settings, and turn power ON or OFF.
To prevent unexpected errors in button operation, you can use the software supplied with the Base Unit to lock the button operation.
Possible to Adjust Measurements
RTR-501/502/503/505/574
It is possible to make adjustments to measurements for each RTR-500 Series Remote Unit by using the exclusive application "Adjustment Tools".
